The individual claimant's
benefit package is tailored to specific needs and may include any or all of the
following:
- UP FRONT CASH - to cover medical expenses and loss of income incurred to the date of settlement.
- MEDICAL EXPENSE ANNUITIES - either annual or monthly payments to cover the cost of predictable future medical expenses usually set out in a "Life Care" plan.
- INCOME ANNUITIES - either annual or monthly payments to replace loss of income caused by injury.
- SPECIAL ACCOUNTS - funds allocated for a special vehicle, home remodeling, special rehabilitation equipment, etc.
- EDUCATIONAL FUNDS - annuities providing for the education of minor children.
